A recent conflict in the Belagavi area, which spurred unrest in the state, occurred when a conductor from the Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) was assaulted for not speaking in Marathi. Due to the bandh, there has been a growing uncertainty surrounding the potential closure of schools. No official confirmation has been made regarding the Karnataka School Holiday on account of the Karnataka Bandh on 22nd March 2025. Shashi Kumar, General Secretary of the Associated Managements of Private Unaided Schools, emphasized the importance of avoiding such disruptions.

It is important to note that there may be transportation disruptions since many cab services and many autorickshaws may be unavailable during the Karnataka Bandh on 22nd March. This disruption may make commuting difficult for students.
