Karnataka School Holiday: The state of Karnataka is expected to announce a school holiday on Aug 19, 2024 in several districts due to heavy and continuous rainfall. Rivers and water bodies have swelled as a result of heavy rains over the past few days. The condition of the roads has made it very difficult to travel in some parts of the districts; hence, it is expected that the state of Karnataka will announce a school holiday tomorrow. Parents and students are advised to visit the official advisories for further announcements about school closures or schedule adjustments. However, as per the information provided by the Meteorological Department, rains are going to persist for more days, and in some areas, there will be heavy rainfall.
