JKSSB Recruitment 2024: Horizontal Reservation Criteria

1. A reservation that crosses over into vertical reservations is called a horizontal reservation. Changes may be necessary to ensure that candidates chosen under this technique are properly put in the designated category.
2. Horizontal Reservation applies to candidates who are Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs). Under the current laws and regulations, the indenting department or departments establish the extent of the reservation.
3. In compliance with current regulations, horizontal reservation under JKSSB Recruitment 2024 for ESM candidates is available for positions up to Level-6E (Pay of 35900-113500).
4. Regulations now in effect control the suitability, nature, and requirements for eligibility of Persons with Benchmark Disabilities under Horizontal Reservation.
5. By Rule 18 of the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Rules, 2005, ESM candidates must provide a Certificate in form-XIV, signed by the appropriate authorities.
6. Female applicants in the ESM category may be chosen using fewer strict criteria if there are not enough ESM candidates who fulfill the General standard to fill reserved positions.
