JEE Main 22nd January 2026 Memory-Based Question Paper: The NTA is set to conduct the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Day 2 exam today, January 22, 2026. Thousands of B.E./B. Tech aspirants will appear for the exam in two slots: Shift 1 (9:00 AM to 12:00 PM) and Shift 2 (3:00 PM to 6:00 PM).

JEE Main 2026 22nd January Session 1 Shift 1 candidates must rush towards the centre as the gates will be closing in 10 minutes. No candidates will be allowed to enter the examination centre after the gates are closed.
As a last minute tip, candidates must follow the dress code and do not carry any prohibited item inside the examination centre, such as geometry box, rough sheet, calculator, and watch.
The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Day 2 Shift 1 Exam is expected to follow the trend of moderate to Difficult level.
The JEE Main 2026 Day 1 paper was of a moderate to difficult level overall. The chemistry paper was lengthy, and Physics was of a moderate level, and the Maths section was easy to moderate.
Piyush from Kota expects the day 2 JEE Main 2026 paper to be of a moderate difficulty level. He is hoping for a less calculative chemistry paper.
Appearing candidates must carry their admit card, original photo ID proof, passport-sized photographs, and a transparent ballpoint pen.
Candidates must reach their exam centres before the gates close. The gate cloning time for shift 1 is 8:30 AM, and for shift 2 is 2:30 PM sharp.
