JEE Main 21 Jan 2026 Shift 1 Feedback: Joint Entrance Examination for session 1 shift 1 was successfully concluded today, January 21, 2026, at 12 PM. With the conclusion of the exam, our team is reporting from the New Delhi centre, gathering feedback from students regarding teh difficulty level of the question paper.
Our first interaction was with Rohit, a test taker who said that the JEE paper for shift 1 was moderate to tough. Another examinee, Alisha, shared her review on the paper revealed it to be pretty challenging. JEE Main 21 Jan 2026 Shift 1 New Delhi Centre Feebacks
As JEE Main 21 Jan 2026 shift 1 paper is over, we bring to you feedback from the students who have appeared for the tests at the New Delhi centre.
- Rohit Verma: As per Rohit, the overall paper was moderate to tough. Out of the three sections, physics was the toughest. In Maths, questions tested endurance, while Chemistry was of a moderate level.
- Anaya Arora: Anaya today appeared for JEE shift 1 for the second attempt, and she said that the paper level was similar to the previous year.
- Karan Chauhan: According to Karan, though, as per trends, there are generally 4 options in a multiple choice question; however, this year, NTA included 5 to 6 options in a few chemistry questions.
- Prerna Bansal: Prerna shares a detailed review of each of the sections. She said that overall, the paper was a bit challenging but manageable. Questions were asked on 3D and vectors in maths, while chemistry had NCERT-based questions; however, physics was difficult.
- Atindra Pal: Atindra attempted JEE for the third time, and he commented that the paper was a bit tough this year. Out of three sections, chemistry was pretty easy compared to the other sections.
- Alisha Ray: Alisha finds it challenging to solve a few math questions that were not directly asked from the NCERT textbooks. While chemistry was easy, physics had moderate-level questions.
- Shuchi Bagchi: Shuchi from the New Delhi centre offered detailed insight into the high-weightage topics asked in three sections. In physics, questions were from waves, modern physics, wave motions, and Fluids. In Chemsitry most questions were asked from organic chemistry, while vector 3D, differential equations hold high weightage from math.
- Vikram Singh: According to Vikram's feedback, physics was moderate, chemistry had easy questions, while mathematics was the toughest.
After collecting student feedback from the New Delhi Center for JEE Main 21 Jan 2026 shift 1, we can conclude that overall, the paper was the same as last year. Maths and physics were a bit challenging yet manageable, while chemistry was easy.
