The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) to open applications for ISRO Robotics Challenge-URSC 2024 (IRoC-U 2024) on Nov 20 at isro.gov.in.
ISRO Robotics Challenge-URSC 2024 (IRoC-U 2024): After the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the south pole of the moon, the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is aiming to explore futuristic robotic mission to the moon and other celestial bodies.
As a part of this new initiative, ISRO will invite youngsters and students to take part in Robotics competitions. The competition is named as ISRO Robotics Challenge-URSC 2024 (IRoC-U 2024) with a tagline "Lets build a space robot".
According to the official schedule released by ISRO, interested candidates can apply for the ISRO Robotics Competition 2023 from Nov 20 to Dec 15, at the official website of IRSO- isro.gov.in.

ISRO is of the opinion that ISRO Robotics Challenge-URSC 2024 (IRoC-U 2024) will help the Robotics enthusiast students to work in collabaration with ISRO to increase their communication skills and problem solving skills that will help them in their academic and professional lives.
Interested students must be aware of the ISRO Robotics Challenge 2024 Eligibility Criteria. As per the rules, each team participating in the ISRO Robotics Challenge 2024 must have 10 students from same institute and only one team must participate form each institute. Students within the age of 30 as of August 23, 2023, can participate in the ISRO Robotics Challenge-URSC 2024 (IRoC-U 2024).
As per the rules, the winning team will win a cash prize of INR 5,00,000, along with certificates from ISRO. Students are advised to maximaise the benefits of this initative.
