As per the responses and feedback given by some ISC board Maths teachers and subject experts, the overall difficulty level was moderate. Calculus solving requires time and conceptual clarity. Section A was time-consuming; however, optionals section was easy.
No, CISCE will not release any official answer key for ISC exam 2026. Students need to rely on unofficial keys to assess their performance.

As per Namita’s response on the Maths paper, though the question paper was balanced, she found the Calculus sums a bit tricky and challenging.
According to some students, the Mathematics paper was of a moderate level. The objective-type questions were a bit tricky but manageable.
As reported from exam centres, the exam has been successfully concluded with no incidents of paper leak or cheating. Invigilators are collecting answer scripts of students.
Students are now anxiously solving the questions left unattempted. As only 30 minutes are left, we advise that students complete their paper and keep at least 15 minutes for revision.
With just one left for the Maths exam to conclude, our correspondents interacted with some Physics teachers present at the exam centre. According to them, Maths has always been considered challenging; so this year we can expect it to be moderate to difficult. However, a complete analysis will be possible only after the exam is over.
With around 1.5 hours since the exam started, students are expected to move to Section B or C as per their preference. We advise students that they should choose the section easier for them.
As per the paper pattern, students need to attempt all the questions given in Section A. However, they need to choose between Section B and C.
It's been half an hour since the ISC 2026 Maths exam began at various exam centres. No paper leak or malpractices have been reported yet. The exam is conducted smoothly.

Students aspiring to take the Maths exam today should arrive at their respective exam centre by 1 PM. The gates will be closed by 1:30 PM.
