Candidates can apply for the General Duty, Technical, Clerk or Store Keeper, and Tradesman vacancies. - Candidates should be aged between 17.5 and 21 years to be eligible to apply.
- For the Agniveer General Duty vacancies, candidates should have passed at least Class 10
- For Tradesmen vacancies, they should at least pass Class 8.

Candidates must have the following requirements ready at the time of Indian Army Agniveer Registration 2024:
- Pass certificate from Class 10 . (The details including name, father's name, mother's name, and date of birth entered in the application form must match the pass certificate).
- Detailed mark sheet of Class 10 and other higher education qualification (required to be filled in the application form as per the eligibility criteria of the category/entry applied for)
- Scanned passport size photo (between 10 Kb to 20 Kb and in .jpg format)
- Scanned photo of signature (between 5 Kb to 10 Kb, in .jpg format)
