IIT JAM 2026 Registration Extended: Check Revised Date

IIT JAM 2026 Registration Extended: The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, has extended the last date of the JAM application process. According to the latest schedule, eligible students can now register at teh JOAPS portal till October 20, 2025. The Joint Admission Test will be held to help students secure seats across various PG programs, including MSc, MS, MSc+MTech, and others. 

The online registration window was owned on September 5, 2025. Per an official notification, due to the inclusion of three new courses by IIT Kanpur, the registration deadline has been extended. Here are some important instructions that the aspirants can review before heading to IIT JAM registration 2026:

• The IIT JAM registration process is conducted on the JOAPS portal. For the 2026 session, IIT Bombay is administering the examination.
• Candidates should have a functional email ID and phone number, as all communication concerning the exam will be shared via registered details. 
• Candidates are advised to be cautious when providing details on their application form. Non-compliance with any eligibility criteria can lead to cancellation of candidature.
• Candidates should submit only one application form, even if they want to appear for two test papers.
• After filling out the form, candidates must upload a photo and signature in proper formats. 

Once IIT JAM 2026 application form is submitted, the applicant must check the status of the form and if any error is spotted, they should be corrected within the given timeframe.
