IIT JAM 2026 Application Form (Released): Direct Link, Instructions

IIT JAM 2026 Application Form: The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, is set to organize the Joint Admission Test for Master's (JAM) 2026. As per the schedule, the authorities have released the IIT JAM 2026 Application Form today, September 5, 2025. Interested candidates must visit the official website at jam2026.iitb.ac.in to complete and submit the application form to be eligible to take the IIT JAM 2026 Exam. The IIT JAM Exam 2025 is scheduled for February 15, 2026.

The last date to complete the registration is October 12, 2025. The IIT JAM 2026 Registration is conducted through the online JOAPS Portal. After completing the registration, candidates need to fill in their personal and academic details, upload the documents, and pay the application fee to complete the registration. Instructions to Complete IIT JAM 2026 Application Form

Interested students can follow these steps to complete the IIT JAM 2026 Application Form before the due date. 

• Visit the official website - jam2026.iitb.ac.in.
• Navigate to the ‘how to apply’ tab on the homepage.
• Click on JOAPS Portal.
• Click on Register Here link.
• Enter the details, fill out the captch, and click the register tab.
• Candidates will receive their enrollment ID and password at their email address and mobile number. 
• Candidates are advised to keep their enrollment ID and password safe. 
• Login again using the credentials. 
• Proceed to fill the IIT JAM 2026 Application Form.
• Enter the personal information, educational details, choice of exam paper, and cities, 
• Next, proceed to upload the documents, certificates, photographs, and scanned signature in the prescribed format. 
• Pay the application fee online through the available payment gateway.

Candidates must complete the online IIT JAM 2026 Application Form and download the final application form and the fee payment receipt.

It is essential to note that candidates who enter incorrect information in their category, gender, examination city, or date of birth can make corrections after paying a fee of Rs 300. Further, those who want to include additional or change the test papers previously mentioned can apply for it with an additional fee of Rs 300 before November 10, 2025. 

IIT Jam is a national-level online-based exam for admission to Postgraduate science programmes like M.Sc., M.Sc. PhD.
