ICSE 2026 Exam Begins from February 17: Exam Day Guidelines, Reporting Time

ICSE 2026 Exam Day Guidelines: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations will begin the class 10 board examination on February 17, 2026. The first paper, English Paper 1, will be conducted from 11 AM to 1 PM at designated centres. Test takers who haven’t collected their admit must visit their schools to collect it; otherwise, entry inside the exam hall will be prohibited. 

Students taking the test should abide by rules and regulations, including arriving at the test centre 45 minutes early, verifying the admit card, and maintaining discipline. ICSE 2026 Exam Day Guidelines: Check the List of Dos and Don'ts

For the reference of the students, we have provided some of the dos and don'ts to be remembered on ICSE 2026 exam day here:

Dos:

• On the exam day, candidates should arrive at their allotted exam centre at least 40 to 45 minutes before the scheduled exam time.
• Students won’t be allowed inside the exam centre if they fail to produce a hard copy of CISCE issued admit card.
• Candidates can bring their admit card, stationery items, and a transparent water bottle inside the exam hall. 
• After quetsion paper is distributed, students should take time to read it properly and for any doubt, raise a query with ithe nvigilators.

Donts:

• Students reaching the test centre even 5 minutes late won’t be allowed to take the exam.
• Anyone caught carrying electronic devices or chits will be severely penalised and punished.
• Candidates should not wear any informal clothes on the exam day. Every student must wear only the school uniform.
• No one will be allowed to leave the exam hall before the exam ends.
