Haryana Schools to Integrate NEP 2020 Policies By 2025 Not 2030
Haryana's Higher Education Minister, Moolchand Sharma, aims to integrate NEP 2020 Policies by 2025.
To put India into a prominent global educational realm, it is crucial to implement the National Education Policy 2020. Haryana's Higher Education Minister, Moolchand Sharma, emphasizes implementing the NEP 2020 by 2025 instead of 2030.
Moolchand Sharma, during the State Level Implementation Committee meeting, welcomed the decision of Chief Minister Manohar Lal's idea of implementing the NEP 2020 policies by the year 2025 instead of 2030 to shape India's educational landscape for the 21st century.
The education minister is of the opinion that the implementation of the NEP 2020 will enhance the employment opportunities for the state's youth. Further, the introduction of Artificial Intelligence, 3-D machines, data analysis, biotechnology, and other emerging courses will create more job opportunities for graduate-level students.
Additionally, Moolchand Sharma stated, "We aspire to exceed a 50 percent gross enrollment ratio of girls in higher education by 2030. Haryana has currently achieved a commendable 32 percent enrollment ratio among girls, positioning itself strongly to achieve the 50 percent milestone well ahead of the 2030 target."
The successful execution and implementation of the National Education Policy 2020 will act as a transformative mechanism propelling India to join the league of leading global educational frontrunners. Lastly, Moolchand Sharma believes that the effective implementation of the NEP 2020 policy will elevate India to its rightful place as a 'Vishwa Guru' once again.
