GATE Result 2024: Know How Cut-off is Calculated
Candidates can check the steps to calculate the GATE 2024 Cut-off, after the result has been released for the engineering entrance exam.
GATE Result 2024: The results for the GATE 2024 will be declared on Mar 16, 2024. Candidates who are eagerly waiting for the results of the GATE 2024 must check how to calculate the cut-off marks.
IISc Bangalore will also release the GATE 2024 Cut-off Marks soon after the GATE Result 2024 has been announced. The cut-off marks will be uploaded on the official website, gate2024.iisc.ac.in. Candidates will be required to enter their enrollment number and password to log in and check the cut-off marks.

GATE Result 2024: Know How the Cut-off Marks is Calculated
Candidates can refer to the formula given below to know how to calculate the GATE 2024 Cut-off:
GATE Cut-off Marks 2024= (Total Number of Marks Secured by all the Students) + (Total Number of Students)
Candidates must remember that the minimum marks that are required to qualify in the GATE 2024 are given below:

After the GATE Result 2024 has been released, the candidates must understand that the GATE 2024 Normalisation Process will be used to calculate the marks of the candidates due to the varying difficulty levels of the papers in different shifts. The normalized scores of the candidates for the GATE 2024 will be calculated out of 1000.
