GATE 2024 Result: Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, will release the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2024 on Saturday, i.e., Mar 16, 2024. After the result of the engineering entrance examination has been released, candidates can calculate their marks accordingly.
There is a particular process to calculate the marks using the scores as per the GATE 2024 Result. Candidates must know how to calculate the marks scored for each question and then calculate it based on the normalisation process set by the authority.

GATE 2024: How to Calculate Marks?
Once IISc Bangalore has announced the results, candidates must check the scores in the GATE Result 2024. Candidates must remember that 2-3 marks will be awarded for every correct answer (depending on the type of question, like MCQ, MSQ, NAT). ⅓ or ⅔ marks will be deducted for wrong answers under the MCQ-type questions. There is no negative marking for questions under MSQ and NAT.
Candidates' scores will be out of 100 in the GATE 2024 Result based on the questions the candidate answers correctly.
