DTE Maharashtra Polytechnic Merit List 2024: Tie-Breaking Rule
It must be noted that the students will obtain the merit list number according to their marks gained in the SSC, therefore, if two or more applicants get equal marks, the authority will use the following tie-breaking rules to determine the merit list rank:
- Candidates with higher scores in math will get the priority.
- Still, the tie exists between the students; the science subject marks in SSC will get the preference.
- The higher marks in English subjects will then be taken into account by the authority.
- If the tie persists, candidates will be given preference by the authority based on their science background in 12th grade or minimum vocational course skills.
