CUET UG 2026 Registration Closes on February 4: Will there be another round of extension from NTA

CUET UG 2026 Registration: The National Testing Agency has earlier extended teh final date for the submission of the CUET UG application form from Jan 31 to Feb 4. Candidates who haven’t submitted their forms might be wondering if another extension is possible or not. As per previous year trends, NTA extended the application deadline for the Common University Entrance Test UG twice in 2024. Initially, the extended application date was March 31, 2024, and then it was extended till April 5, 2024.

Will CUET UG 2026 Registration Date Be Extended Again?

As per the official notification shared by NTA, CUET UG 2026 registration will be closed on February 4, 2026. Eligible candidates must apply online before 11:50 PM. Fees can be paid till February 7, 2026, and the correction window will open from February 9 onwards. As far as another round of extension from NTA is concerned, there are chances based on past year trends. 

In 2024, the deadline for the application was extended twice, while in 2022, there were three extensions provided by NTA. We can expect a similar trend this year too. However, without any official update, we suggest that students register and fill out the application by Feb 4.
