Eligibility Criteria for CTET 2025

Primary School Teacher:
- The applicants should have completed 10+2 education from a recognised board.
- Candidates should secure at least 50% in class 12. For the reserved category, the minimum marks requirement is 45%.
- To apply for CTET, qualifying a Diploma in Elementary Education is mandatory.
Upper Primary School Teacher:
- The candidates can apply for CTET to teach in secondary classes if they have obtained a graduation degree.
- They should have secured a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in their UG programme.
- Holding a D.Ed degree is essential to be eligible for the CTET exam.
