CLAT Counselling 2025 Registration Last Date: The Consortium of National Law Universities (CNLUs) has commenced the registration for the Admissions Counselling Process on May 17, 2025. As the CLAT Counselling 2025 Registration Last Date is approaching, candidates must complete the registration process before the last date by visiting the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. According to the official notification, the CLAT Counselling 2025 Registration Last Date is May 21, 2025. The counselling registration window will be active till 5:00 PM. To complete their registration process, candidates must complete their registration fee by 5.00 PM on May 21, 2025.

Steps to Complete the CLAT Counselling 2025 Registration

Candidates can check the step-by-step process to complete the CLAT Counselling 2025 Registration below:

• Visit the official website - consortiumofnlus.ac.in. 
• Log in to the candidates's portal.
• Click on the ‘Update NLU Preferences’ tab. 
• Provide a minimum of 15 NLU preferences.
• Submit the preferences (it can be reviewed and updated till May 21, 2025).
• Click the ‘make payment’ button. 
• The registration payment portal will appear on the screen. 
• Pay the counselling registration fee of Rs 30,000 (General), Rs 20,000(ST/ SC/ OBC/ BC/ EWS/ PWD).
• After receiving the ‘payment successful’ message, download the payment receipt.

It is important to note that only candidates who have completed the registration process for the CLAT Counselling 2025 Registration before the last date will be considered for seat allotment. The first seat allotment list will be released on May 26, 2025. 

Options After the Seat Allotment

Candidates who will be allotted seats will have to choose one of the options:

• Freeze: Accept the seat allotted in the first round and exit further rounds. (Candidates must pay the non-refundable confirmation fees of Rs 20,000).
• Float: Accept the allotted seat but keep options open for the next round. (Candidates must pay the non-refundable confirmation fees of Rs 20,000.)
• Exit: Withdraw from the CLAT Counselling process.
