CLAT 2026 Counselling Registration: With the declaration of results for the Common Law Admission Test, online counselling registration begins today, December 17, 2025, at 6 PM. Candidates who have qualified the entrance exam have been sent emails to participate in the counselling round. As part of the registration process, candidates are required to log in to their CLAT account and select NLU preferences. As per the rules, a maximum of 15 preferences can be selected by the candidates.
The next step after choosing preferences is paying the requisite fee; otherwise, registration won’t be confirmed. Online application for counselling will be accepted till December 27 till 10 PM. Instructions Regarding CLAT Counselling Registration Process 2026
Here are some important instructions regarding CLAT counselling registration process 2026 that candidates can review:
- To register for CLAT counselling, candidates have to log in using their registered mobile number and password. Candidates should provide NLU preferences and can update them till the last date.
- For registration, general category candidates have to pay Rs 30,000 while reserved category candidates have to pay Rs 20,000.
- Candidates who will successfully complete the registration process will eb considered for the seat allotment.
