Stages of Selection After CAT 2025 Result
Qualified students have to go through other selection stages to ultimately secure a seat at any of tehri preferred IIMs.
- Preliminary Screening: Those declared qualified per their CAT result 2025 can participate in the preliminary screening, which is a writing ability test. It is meant to evaluate candidates’ writing ability and thought process.
- Group Discussion: In some IIMs, candidates who have cleared the WAT have to participate in a group discussion. As per the rule, a topic will be given to a group of students, and through the candidates’ opinions, they will be judged.
- Personal Interview: This will be the final stage of selection, whereby candidates will be called for an interview. The panel of interviewers will evaluate candidates based on domain knowledge, communication skills, and personality.
