CAT 2025 Admit Card LIVE Updates: Download Link Expected Soon

Candidates will be able to download the CAT 2025 Admit Card from the official website - iimcat.ac.in.

As per the schedule, the CAT 2025 Admit Card download link will be activated today, November 5, 2025.

No, there is no negative marking for unanswered questions. The negative marking is applicable only for incorrect responses. 

There is no limit to attempt the Common Admission Test (CAT); one can take it as many times as they want to meet the CAT eligibility criteria.

Candidates will get +3 marks for every correct question. Candidates must note that there is a negative marking of -1 mark for every incorrect MCQ.

The CAT 2025 question paper will include three sections:

• Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC)
• Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DILR)
• Quantitative Aptitude (QA)

The following changes have been made in the new CAT 2025 Exam pattern:

• DLR questions increased from 20 to 22
• Marks of DLR questions increased from 60 to 66
• Total Marks of the CAT Exam increased from 198 to 204

Candidates need to follow the following dress code while appearing for the exam:

• Jackets, hoodies, coats, cardigans with pockets, caps, and headgear will not be allowed.
• Metal jewellery is not allowed.
• Clothes with pockets, jackets, and footwear are not allowed. 
• Candidates can wear slippers. 
• Candidates with metal implants, pacemakers, etc., must carry their medical certificate with them.

The CAT Exam 2025 will be conducted in exam centres in 170 test cities. Candidates must check the exam centre address mentioned on their admit card.

Here are some exam day guidelines for the candidates preparing to appear for the CAT Exam 2025:

• Affix the photograph on the hard copy of the CAT Hall Ticket. The photograph must match the one used during the registration process. 
• Candidates must carry a photo ID while appearing for the exam.
• If the name doesn’t match the document, it is mandatory to carry the name change affidavit.
• Carry the category and PwD certificates (if applicable).
• Follow the dress code.
• Do not carry any electronic gadgets to the examination centre.
• Arrive at least 90 minutes before the exam starts.

The following items are prohibited from being carried into the exam centre:

• Mobile phone, calculator, iPad, or any other gadget.
• Carry bags or luggage.
• Writing Pad or rough paper.

Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre 1 hour and 30 minutes before the exam timing to complete the verification process on time. 

The Common Admission Test or CAT 2025 Exam is scheduled for November 30, 2025.

Candidates must carry the following documents while visiting the exam centre on exam day:

• Printed CAT 2025 Admit Card (2 Copies).
• 5 Passport-sized photographs (same as used in the application form).
• A valid photo ID proof (Adhaar card/PAN Card/passport/voter ID/Driving license).
• PwD certificate, scribe affidavit, or other special-accommodation documentation (If Applicable).

After the hall ticket is released, here are the steps that candidates must take:

• Download the hall ticket.
• Take multiple colour printouts of it.
• Check the details mentioned in it.
• Read the exam guidelines.
• Report the errors (if any).

No, candidates will not receive any hard copy of their CAT Admit Card 2025. However, they must print the hard copies themselves for verification during the examination.
