Bihar Board 2026 Exam: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) began the Bihar Board 2026 Exam from today, February 2, 2026. It is advisable for the students to reach the examination centre before the reporting time with their Bihar Board 2026 Admit card and a valid photo ID.
The exam is conducted in two sessions. The first session began at 9:30 AM, and the second session will be from 2:00 PM. The BSEB Intermediate exam 2026 will end on February 13, 2026. The BSEB intermediate exams will be held across 1761 centres for a total of 13,17,846 students, including 6,75,844 female candidates and 6,42,002 male candidates.

Candidates can check the reporting time of the BSEB Intermediate Exam 2026 for shifts 1 and 2:

Bihar Board 2026 Exam Guidelines
Here are the important exam day guidelines for candidates appearing for the Bihar Board 2026 Intermediate exam:
- Reach the examination centre at least 1 hour before the commencement of the exam. The gates will be closed 30 minutes before the exam.
- Students must remember to carry their Bihar Board 2026 Hall Ticket and a valid photo ID proof. Without these, candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination centre.
- Students are not permitted to enter the examination hall with socks and shoes. However, relaxations may be granted under specific weather conditions. Under the general guidelines, students may wear footwear with thin soles, but shoes with thick soles are not permitted.
- Candidates who enter forcefully after the gates are closed will be charged with criminal trespass and will be expelled for 2 years.
- Electronic gadgets, like mobile phones, earphones, smartwatches, and calculators, are strictly prohibited inside the hall.
- As per the board’s provisions, students who are unable to write on their own will be allowed to use a scribe and will be allotted 20 minutes of extra time per hour.
Four model examination centres have been set up in every district to ensure the smooth conduct of the exams. In total, 152 model centres have been established across the state's 38 districts.
