In some areas of the state, students complained on Friday about encountering out-of-syllabus questions in the mathematics paper, potentially resulting in a loss of around 25 marks out of 100. This issue concerned the authorities, leading to additional students coming forward with similar claims of facing the same situation during the examination.
On the first day of the examination, a case of question paper leak was reported from the Cachar district. The General English question paper began circulating on WhatsApp shortly after the examination commenced.
However, the education minister has denied the allegations. He stated that the HSLC examination question paper leak reports in Cachar District are fake. Officials are currently investigating the source of this misinformation and will take appropriate legal actions as necessary.
Speaking to the media regarding this matter, Pegu stated that a departmental investigation has been set up, and the ultimate decision will be made upon the Assam HSLC Maths exam 2024 out of syllabus questions.
