- If a candidate answers 'YES' to upgrading and is subsequently allotted a seat in Round 3, their earlier joined institute's seat will be cancelled, and they must join the newly allotted Round 3 institute after relieving themselves from the Round 1 or Round 2 institution.
- If a candidate chooses 'NO' to upgrading, they will continue their studies at the Round 2 joined institute.
- There is no free exit option available in the AIAPGET Round 3 Counselling 2025, meaning candidates allotted seats must join the Round 3 allotted institute.
