    Weekly Report from the Education Field: MHT CET, XAT and More

    The education sector has been abuzz with many major notifications and news related to the top exams in the country. From JEE Mains 2021 registration to IIFT 2021 admit card, here is an overview of everything that has happened over the span of the last seven days.

    IIT JAM 2021 Admit Card Released – The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has released the IIT JAM 2021 admit cards for the PG level entrance exam. The registered candidates can access it from jam.iisc.ac.in the official website. In order to download, candidates will have to log in using the requisite credentials.

    XAT 2021 Objection Window Closed – XLRI Jamshedpur, the XAT exam’s conducting body, closed the objection window for XAT 2021 on 11 January 2021. It was the last opportunity to challenge the answer key or raise objections, if any. While raising objections, candidates have to provide sufficient backing documents in support of their claim. The authorities will look into the challenges and release the final answer key along with the XAT results soon.

    CTET 2021 Exam Date Announced – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to conduct the CTET 2020 on 31 January 2021. The board has adopted the principle of “safety first” amid the COVID-19 pandemic for the commencement of the examination. The authority has also decided to allocate the exam centres to the candidates near their homes.

    Telangana Schools to Reopen in February – The Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao, instructed the officials to make the requisite arrangements to facilitate the reopening of schools for classes 9 to 12 in the state from 1 February 2021. Focusing more on proper guidelines and standard operating procedures, he addressed the same at the District Collector Conference at Pragathi Bhavan on Monday.

    UPES BBA 2021 Registration Commences – The registration process for a full-time Bachelor’s of BBA program has been started by the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES). The registration process has begun for the 2021 academic year. Candidates who want to register for the BBA program can visit upes.ac.in the official website. The application form for registering for the UPES BBA program is available in both offline and online mode.

    HBSE Compartmental Admit Card Released – The Haryana Board of School Education has released the HBSE compartmental admit card 2021. The compartmental admit card was released for both classes 10 and 12. The compartmental exam is a special exam conducted for the students who have not passed the board exam subjects.

    RBSE Board Exam Dates Announced – The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (BSER) has declared that the RBSE board exam for classes 10 and 12 will commence after 15 May 2021. This declaration was made keeping in mind the current situation of the pandemic. The board also mentioned that by 15 June 2021, the board exams for both classes would be completed.

    XAT 2021 Results Expected Soon – XLRI Jamshedpur, the XAT exam’s conducting body, will release the result for XAT 2021 soon. The result will be available to check on xatonline.in the official website. In order to check their results, students will have to log in using the requisite credentials. The XAT 2021 exam was held on 4 January 2021 in a computer-based mode.

    IIT has Commenced the Admission Process for MBA Courses – The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) has started the admission process for the Post Graduate Management Program (MBA). The admission process has started for the 2021-22 academic year. Selection will be done as per the criteria of IIT and admission will be done online. Candidates who want to apply for the programs can visit the respective IIT official website and apply for the course.

    CTET 2021 Admit Card Released – The CTET 2021 admit card has been released by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Candidates who have applied for the exam can visit ctet.nic.in the official website and download their admit card. The CTET exam is scheduled to commence on 31 January 2021.

    NEET PG 2021 Exam Dates Announced – The exam dates for NEET PG 2021 have finally been announced by the National Board of Examinations (NBE). The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for postgraduate courses, commonly known as NEET PG, is scheduled to be held on 18 April 2021. The exam will be held in computer-based test mode. Candidates who are able to complete their internship on or before 30 June 2021 will be eligible to appear for the exam.

    BITSAT 2021 Application Forms to be Out Soon – Birla Institute of Technology and Science is expected to release the application form for BITSAT 2021 soon. Application forms will be made available on www.bitsadmission.com the official website. Along with the application form, the authorities are expected to throw light on the syllabus and exam dates as well.

    JEE Main 2021 Registration Process Concludes – The National Testing Agency (NTA) released the application forms for JEE Main 2021 February session earlier and the last date to fill out the application form was 16 January 2021. In order to register and fill out the application form, candidates had to visit jeemain.nta.nic.in the official website.

    TISSNET 2021 Registration Date Extended – Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) has extended the registration date for TISSNET 2021. The last date to fill out the TISSNET application form in both online and offline mode is 25 January 2021. The last date earlier was 15 January 2021. In order to fill out the application form, candidates will have to visit www.tiss.edu the official website.

    IIFT 2021 Admit Card Released – The admit card for IIFT 2021 has been released online on iift.nta.nic.in the official website. In order to download their admit cards, students will have to log in to the exam portal by entering their application number and date of birth. The IIFT entrance exam is scheduled for 24 January 2021.
