Given below are the major news reports from the education sector covering NEET PG 2021, CBSE board exams, and other state board exams postponed, IGNOU 2021 registrations extended, NATA 2021 answer key released, etc.

HBSE Class 10 and 12 Admit Card Released: The admit cards for HBSE classes 10 and 12 were released online by the Board of School Education in Haryana on the official website.

NEET PG 2021 Admit Card Released:  NEET PG 2021 admit card was released by the National Board of Examinations on the official website. Candidates  can visit nbe.edu.in the official website, to download their admit cards.

NATA 2021 Answer Key Released: NATA 2021 Answer Key has been released by the Council of Architecture (CoA) on the official website for the first phase of the exam which was conducted on 10 April 2021.

DU UG Semester Exam Date Sheet Released: DU UG Semester Exam 2021 date sheet was released by Delhi University for undergraduate students. However, the date sheet is tentative and that the final one will be released soon for undergraduate students.

NATA 2021 Results Delayed: The NATA 2021 result was expected to be declared on 14 April 2021 by the Council of Architecture (CoA). However, the results have been delayed and will now be released on 20 April 2021.

DNB PDCET 2021 Registrations Ended: The registration process for Diplomate of National Board Post-Diploma Centralised Entrance Test (DNB PDCET) 2021 ended on 14 April 2021 and the exam will be held on 9 May 2021.

IGNOU 2021 Registrations Extended: Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date to register for the IGNOU January 2021 session until 30 April 2021.

Uttar Pradesh School to Remain Closed till 30 April: Uttar Pradesh government has closed all schools on 12 April 2021, in the state till 30 April 2021 when the state reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases.

Schools and Colleges in Gujarat Closed: The Gujarat Government has ordered the government and private colleges to conduct online classes and shut down till 30 April 2021 due to the sudden rise in COVID-19 cases.

JMI to Conduct Online Classes for Students: Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) will conduct online classes for undergraduate and postgraduate students due to the rising number of coronavirus cases in Delhi. However, with the consent of supervisors, research scholars are allowed to continue with offline academic work.

CBSE Class 12 Exams Postponed and Class 10 Exams Canceled: CBSE has canceled the class 10 board exam 2021 and in contrast, postponed the  class 12 exam 2021 due to a sudden rise in new COVID-19 cases. The decision was as announced by Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal after a review meeting with the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi. 

Rajasthan Class 10 and 12 Exams Postponed: The Rajasthan government has postponed the class 10 and 12 state board exams and asked the RBSE to promote the class 8, 9 and 10 students to the next classes without holding final exams.

UP Class 10 and 12 Board Exams Postponed: UP class 10 and class 12 board exams were postponed by the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education due to a spike in COVID-19 cases in the state. The decision was made in a meeting with the Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath.

TN Class 10 Board Exams Cancelled: Tamil Nadu government has cancelled TN class 10 board exams which were to be conducted from 5 May to 31 May 2021. The decision to cancel the exams was taken due to a sudden rise in COVID-19 cases in the state.

ICSE and ISC Exams Postponed: The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) released a notice stating the postponement of the ISCE and ISC exam.

NEET PG 2021 Postponed: NEET PG 2021 exam which was scheduled for 18 April 2021 was postponed as announced by Dr. Harsh Vardhan because of the sudden spike in the COVID-19 cases.

Tripura Class 10 and 12 Board Exams to be Held as per the Schedule: The Tripura government announced that Tripura classes 10 and 12 exams will be held as per the schedule.

OJEE 2021 Exam Dates Announced: Odisha Joint Entrance Examination Committee has announced the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) 2021 exam dates on 16 April 2021. Candidates can check the exam dates on ojee.nic.in the official website.

COMEDK UGET and Uni GAUGE E Released: The COMEDK UGET and Uni GAUGE E mock tests are released by the authorities to make candidates familiar with the computer-based test.

CDAC C-CAT Seat Counselling Started: CDAC C-CAT seat counselling for the April session was started by the Centre for Advanced Computing on 14 April 2021.
