West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has announced the date of the declaration of WBJEE 2020 results online. The result will be released on 7 August 2020. West Bengal Education Minister, Partha Chatterjee, confirmed on Saturday that WBJEEB is all set to declare the result for the current academic year. Following this, the counselling process will take place.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the entire counselling process will be online, including the orientation program. WBJEE was conducted on 02/02/2020. While the result was set to release in March, it got delayed owing to the pandemic. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to view their results.

  2. On the left-hand side corner, find “News and Events.”
  3. Click on the active link.
  4. Enter the required credentials, i.e., “Application Number” and “Password”.
  5. View the result and make sure to save a copy for future reference.

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) is an entrance examination which is conducted by WBJEEB each year. It is a state controlled test but is undertaken centrally. Candidates qualifying this examination are given admission to the various state government and private (self-aided) engineering institutions in West Bengal.

In addition to the engineering courses, the WBJEE score is accepted in various other undergraduate professional degree courses like B.Pharm, B.Arch, etc. WBJEE is conducted in offline mode, i.e., pen and paper mode. A total of 155 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) are asked, and the time duration remains 2 hr 30 min. Candidates must keep in mind that the WBJEE score and ranking holds a lot of weightage. Hence, thorough practice is a must to ace the examination.
