The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has released the results of Higher Secondary Examination 2019 on Monday, 27th May 2019
The HSE Class 12 results have been announced today on the official WBCHSE website. A total of 7,90,756 candidates had enrolled for WB class 12 examination out of which 7,77,266 students appeared in the examination. The Class 12 West Bengal Class exams were conducted from the 26th of February 2019 to the 13th of March 2019. The students can also get their results through an SMS by typing WB12 (space) roll number and sending it to 54242/ 56263/ 5676750. The score will be sent in a subsequent message to the inbox.

The steps to check the WBCHSE Class 12 results for the year 2019 are as follows
- Log in to official board website/portal wbresults.nic.in
- Click on the link ‘West Bengal Council of Higher Education Examination-2018’ provided at the top of the page
- Enter the asked details such as roll number. The results appear on the screen
- Download the result and print it out for future reference
Shovan Mandal from Birbhum Zilla School has been successful in bagging the first rank by scoring unprecedented 498 marks (99.6%). This is the highest ever score procured by a student in the history of the board. Sanjukta Bose from the Bidhannagar Government High School, Kolkata, has achieved the second rank. Purba Midnapore district has the highest pass percentage of 94.19% followed by Kolkata with a pass percentage of Kolkata of 91.41% respectively. The overall pass percentage recorded this year stands at 86.29%.
Each school representative or head of schools is requested to collect the mark sheet and certificates of students from the camp offices of the board. The West Bengal class 12 results 2019 were officially declared in a press conference held at council’s office presided over by the President of the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education, Dr. Mahua Das.
