VTU Exams postponed due to anti-CAA protests


Visvesvaraya Technological University postponed its examinations due to the on-going anti-CAA protests; postponed exams were to be conducted on December 21, 2019

Due to the rising anti-CAA protests in different parts of the State, Karnataka Government announced curfew and holiday for all the schools and colleges in the state. As a consequence of this, VTU has to postpone its Examinations that was to get conducted on December 21 2020.

VTU registrar in a press release announced that detailed notification regarding the rescheduled dates would be announced later. Any announcement regarding the changed dates of exam will be posted in VTU official website, i.e. vtu.ac.in

VTU Exam postponement is applicable in all the regions.

Steps to View the notification regarding the VTU Exam Date Change

  • Go to VTU official website vtu.ac.in

  • Find the link ‘Postponement of Examinations scheduled on December 21 2019′ dated December 20, 2019, on VTU home page and click it.

  • In the page that follows, you will be able to find a download link named ‘POSTPONEMENT OF EXAMINATIONS 21/12/2019’, click on it.

  • Notification regarding the postponement of examinations will be shown in PDF format.

  • Download or refer the notification according to your convenience.

CAA Protests: Other Important Changes

RUHS Bengaluru also previously postponed their semester-end examinations which were to get conducted on December 20 2020. Theory exams for Medical & Dental courses were the ones’ to be conducted on the day. RUHS has also released a notification regarding the exam postponement on their official website.

Most universities in Uttar Pradesh including Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Lucknow University and Allahabad University have also postponed their exams scheduled to be held today.
