The Union Public Service Commission has released IAS, IFS Preliminary examination student admit cards on the 30th of April on its official website
All candidates appearing for the civil services examination (CSE) can now download the admit card between 30th April and 2nd of June 2019 only. It can be procured from the official websites or through the following Direct link to download UPSC Civil Services Prelims Admit Card 2019
The UPSC preliminary round will be held on Sunday, 2nd of June 2019. The UPSC also has notified that CSE 2019 will be conducted for 896 vacancies across IAS, IPS, IFS and other Group A and Group B posts. The UPSC preliminary exam consists of 2 compulsory objective type papers namely General Ability Test (GAT) and Civil Service Aptitude Test (GSAT) The time allotted for both the papers is 2 hours and consists of 200 marks each.
The selected candidates will give the IAS Mains exam which will be held on September 20th, 2019. The UPSC cut off as of now has not been released by the commission. The cut off will be based on the candidate’s performance in UPSC Prelims, Mains and Interview round respectively.
The steps to download the UPSC CSE prelims 2019 hall ticket are as follows
- Open the official UPSC website upsconline.nic.in
- On the homepage, select ‘download admit card’ link
- Now enter your registration number, roll number
- The admit card will appear on the screen
- Make sure to download and print out the hall ticket.
Candidates must make sure to check their hall tickets for discrepancies. If there is an error or complication, they must notice it to the Commission immediately.
Every candidate must carry the admit card along with an original Photo Identity Card to the examination. No candidate will be allowed to attempt the paper without the relevant documents in tow. Also, the entry to the hall will be closed 10 minutes before the commencement of the test.
