The test dates for the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) have been released on the official board website.
Candidates who wish to appear for SAT examination can visit the official website to register themselves for the test. However, the registration for the SAT examination to be held on August 24, 2019 has closed on July 26, 2019. The late registration link though, is open until August 6, 2019, for the mailed registration and August 13, 2019, for the registrations made online or via phone.
The SAT test dates for the next twelve months or one year are available. Upcoming SAT test will be held on the following dates

- March 14, 2020
- May 2, 2020
- June 6, 2020

Steps to follow for SAT Registration 2019-20
The registration for SAT 2019 can be done online or via email. To register for SAT online candidates can follow the below-given steps
- Login to the official website collegeboard.org and select ‘Register for the SAT’
- Click on the registration link and sign in to create the free ‘College Board’ account.
- Now enter the details such as name and other identification information
- Candidates can now select whether they wish to appear for SAT with essay
- Upload photograph as per the requirements mentioned. After this, candidates will be able to download the Admission Ticket for the examination
Candidates appearing for SAT examination are required to carry all the necessary documents along with them to the allocated test centre. The test will be conducted for a duration of 3 hours and an additional 50 minutes for the SAT essay section which is optional. The different sections of the test include Evidence-Based Reading and Writing, Math and Essay (optional).
