The National Testing Agency (NTA), on 24 September 2020, released the UGC NET 2020 Admit Cards for the exams scheduled to be held on 29 September 2020, 30 September 2020 and 1 October 2020. In order to download the admit cards, candidates need to visit the official website. Registered candidates can download their UGC NET admit card using their application number and date of birth.

Earlier, on 19 September 2020, NTA had released the admit cards for the exam supposed to be held on 24 and 25 September 2020. Along with the admit card, the National Testing Agency (NTA) had also announced the complete schedule of the UGC NET exam that was postponed earlier.

Candidates can follow the below-mentioned steps to download their UGC NET admit card:

  • Visit the official website –
  • Scroll down towards the bottom of the page.
  • Click on ‘Download Admit Card for UGC Net 2020.’
  • You will be redirected to a new page.
  • Enter your application number, date of birth and security pin.
  • Click on ‘Submit.’
  • Your UGC NET 2020 admit card will be displayed on the screen.
  • Save a copy or take a printout for future reference.

NTA UGC NET 2020 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates have to strictly adhere to the important guidelines laid out, keeping in mind the COVID-19 pandemic. On the UGC NET exam day, it is mandatory to maintain social distancing at the exam centre. The COVID-19 essentials are a must, without which entry will be prohibited. These measures are taken keeping in mind the safety of the candidates, invigilators and the staff.

About UGC NET Exam

UGC NET is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) twice in a year. The exam is conducted for the recruitment of Assistant Professors and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) in various universities and colleges across the country. The exam is conducted in online mode, and only after qualifying the exam, a candidate is eligible to apply for these doctoral degrees.
