TS EAMCET 2020 Exam Scheduled for 3 October 2020 Stands Postponed

Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad, on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has notified that the TS EAMCET 2020 examination slated for 3 October 2020 has been postponed until further notice.

The entrance examination was re-scheduled for the students who tested COVID positive. These students weren’t allowed to sit for the examination, keeping in mind their health and safety. TSCHE promised to provide another chance for such candidates so that no one is at a disadvantage.

TS EAMCET 2020 Postponed Till Further Notice

TSCHE updated the candidates through the official website regarding the postponement of examination. Candidates can visit the official website – eamcet.tsche.ac.in and scroll down to find the section titled, “Latest Updates.” Candidates will be able to see the update flashing as “Kindly note that TS EAMCET-2020 Exam scheduled on 3 October 2020 is postponed.”

The new schedule will be released soon for the candidates to view and download. In the meantime, candidates must keep visiting the official website so that they do not miss out on the latest updates.

Note Further

Candidates who weren’t able to write the entrance examination earlier were allowed to apply for the rescheduled examination till 30 September 2020. Following which, the examination was supposed to be conducted on 3 October 2020. However, the decision to postpone the same was taken as the COVID-19 cases are spiking on a regular basis. Thus, conducting the examination in such a scenario, especially for the candidates who were tested positive could deteriorate their health further.

Candidates must also note that the TSCHE authorities are expected to announce TS EAMCET 2020 Result on 6 October 2020. The examination was held on 9, 10, 11 and 14 September 2020 for engineering courses. TS EAMCET 2020 result shall be announced on the official website and candidates will need their registration number, date of birth and qualifying exam hall ticket number to access the results. Thus, candidates must keep visiting the official website for the latest updates.
