The AIAPGET 2020 Exam Schedule is Out

Maharashtra Government Scraps off 70:30 Quota for Medical Courses in the State

The All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2020 Schedule has been released by the National Testing Agency (NTA)

According to the official memo released by the NTA, the AIAPGET 2020 will be a computer based examination. It will be held on 29 April 2020. The registration window for the exam has been set between January 01 to January 31, 2020. The Admit Card will be available for download on the April 01. Meanwhile, the examination result will be declared on 10 May 2020.

AIAPGET 2020 Exam Eligibility Criteria

The applying candidates must have qualified the degree of BUMS/BAMS/BHMS/BSMS or provisional pass certificate of BUMS/BAMS/BHMS/BSMS and candidates have to complete 1 year of internship before AIAPGET counselling. Also, on the date of application, the candidates shouldn’t be above 32 years of age.

Candidates are required to visit the official website of AIAPGET to get themselves registered. Application fees can be paid through both online and offline means. The exact details of the same will be officially announced in due time.

AIAPGET 2020 Examination Details

The AIAPGET 2020 examination in all probability will be conducted in a single shift. A total of 100 questions are to be answered in 1 hour and 30 minutes. The exam will be computer-based with multiple choice questions (MCQ’s). It will be conducted in multiple languages, except for Homoeopathy as it will be conducted exclusively in English.

As per the official memo from the Ministry of AYUSH, a candidate must score a minimum of 50 percent marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC) to qualify in the AIAPGET 2020 exam. The students who clear the test will be eligible for counselling by the AYUSH admission central counselling committee (AACCC).

The NTA AIAPGET test scores are eligible pan India inclusive of state quota seats for admission to MD/MS and PG Diploma Courses. This could be in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy streams of medicine under all AYUSH colleges and institutions.
