Symbiosis International University (SIU) will soon be conducting its MBA entrance exam Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) 2020, an official notification from the University declared. It is expected to be conducted on the 2nd Sunday of December i.e. 13th December 2020 tentatively (as per the past years). The registration for the SNAP exam can begin anytime from August 2020 onwards.
The SNAP 2020 exam will be conducted online for candidates seeking admission in the MBA programme at Symbiosis International University. Every year, around 50,000 – 75,000 students apply for SNAP exam. These numbers are an indicator that the SNAP test is amongst the top 10 most sought after entrance exams in India for management studies. The SNAP 2020 exam is the first step to secure a seat in various Post-Graduate courses offered by SIU institutes.
Since 2018, SIU has been conducting SNAP exams through online mediums. This is in line with the protocol that other prominent MBA entrance exams follow in India such as CAT, MAT, CMAT, and NMAT among others. After the online test, SNAP aspirants undergo a GE-PIWAT process before getting the final admission offer from one of the 15 management Institutes under Symbiosis International University. One can get into institutes located in Pune, Bangalore, Nashik, and Hyderabad through this exam. The SNAP syllabus includes General English, Current Affairs, Quantitative Aptitude, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.
Eligibility for SNAP 2020:
The candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree passed with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST) to be eligible for SNAP 2020. The degree can be in any discipline and from any recognized/statutory University or Institute. In case the candidate possesses a degree from any Foreign University, then they will have to obtain a certificate of equivalence from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
