SPPU Final Year Exams 2020 Postponed, Check Details

The administration has postponed Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) final year exam for the year 2020. The university exams were scheduled to be conducted from 5 October 2020. Although the exam timetable was not released, the decision to postpone the exam was taken because of the date clash with other major competitive and entrance exams. As per official reports, the examination will now be conducted from 12 October 2020 onward.

Examinations have been delayed due to numerous reasons, with dates coinciding with competitive exams being the most important. Other causes include the strike of non-teaching staff members and the delay in the agency’s appointment to work on conducting the exams. The backlog exam, which was supposed to begin from today onwards, has also been postponed due to the reasons mentioned above.

Examinations like UPSC CSE, MPSC, and UGC NET were scheduled for the same dates as SPPU final year exams. And many final year students have applied for the same for either higher studies or job search. Mahesh Kakade, the SPPU board of exams and evaluation, confirmed that the university has thus decided to postpone the examinations.
