The Chief Minister of Telangana, K Chandrasekhar Rao, instructed the officials to make the requisite arrangements to facilitate the reopening of schools for classes 9 to 12 in the state from 1 February 2021. Focusing more on proper guidelines and standard operating procedures, he addressed the same at the District Collector Conference at Pragathi Bhavan on Monday.
A detailed instruction manual will be laid down and formulated by the government to reopen schools in February. Masks and sanitisers will be a must with strict adherence to social distancing norms. More details will be released well within time.
He also directed the officials to make arrangements for the proper administration of the COVID-19 vaccine. The chief minister is likely to interact with Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding the state’s arrangements. He also directed the concerned authorities to complete the Dharani project’s modifications within a week, primarily focusing on preserving the green cover.
