As a measure to bridge the disparity in the Indian Civil Services, the Rajasthan government has decided to provide free training to the UPSC aspirants. This extraordinary measure can be availed by the students belonging to the various tribal communities and the Sahariya community of Rajasthan. The initiative will incorporate educational directions from the reputed coaching institutions of the state.

    The TAD-30 Project

The announcement of the free coaching facility was made by Arjun Bamania, Minister of State for Tribal and Regional Development. He further added that the Tribal and Region Development Department would soon begin the TAD Super-30 project. Under this project, 30 students will be selected, out of which twenty will be males and the remaining ten females. The selected students will be provided free coaching for the Civil Services Examination.

As an eligibility criterion, the students will have to pass their graduation with a minimum of sixty per cent aggregate in any stream. Candidates must also have a valid ST certificate and internet facility to attend online coaching classes.

Coaching as Per the Budget Announcement

The minister also said the project to train civil service aspirants would commence as per the budget announcement. This would prove a suitable time to provide free coaching to the students preparing for competitive examinations conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, also known as the UPSC and the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC).

Sorry State of Affairs in the Country

Everybody is aware of the hefty and unreasonable fees that the reputed coaching institutions charge. The cost can hike up to 1.8 lakh per student for a complete cycle and additionally, the lodging and food expenses, in case of an outstation student. Hence, only the socially privileged class can afford such facilities while most aspirants either self-study or drop the idea.

As a measure to bridge this disparity, even if it’s just a speck of dust in the storm, the novel initiative would make a hard-working student’s dream come true of serving the nation. Interested candidates must watch out for the latest announcements. Furthermore, aspirants must keep themselves thorough with the registration process. This is a golden opportunity for many, as the coaching is provided for the most prestigious service for any citizen.
