Postponement Of CET Exams By TSCHE, Revised Datesheet To Be Declared Soon

Owing to the COVID-19 lockdown, TS CET exams have been postponed by The Telangana State Council for Higher Education. As per the notification issued on the official website, due to extension of lockdown, the last dates for the payment of the application fee and submission of the online applications for all the CET exams have been extended without late fee. Also, CET 2020 exams have been postponed.

The lockdown in the state has been extended until April 30, 2020. The revised date sheet for the postponed common entrance tests will be released on the official website, at a later point of time. According to the notification issued, the last date for submission of online application has been extended to May 5, 2020. 

The postponed list of Telangana State Common Entrance Tests include the TS ECET 2020, TS PGECET 2020, TS EAMCET 2020, TS ICET 2020, TS PGECET 2020 and TS EdCET 2020, TS PECET 2020, TS LAWCET 2020.

With the lockdown being extended most of the entrance examinations have been postponed. The revised datesheet for all the postponed examinations will be released once the situation turns normal.

TSCHE (Telangana State Council of Higher Education) was established by the order of the State Government of Telangana by the adoption of the APSCHE Act 16 of 1988 according to the provisions of the AP Reorganization ACT 2014.

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education is primarily a coordinating body between the Universities, State Government and University Grants Commission (UGC). The council has the general duty of coordinating and determining standards in Research, Scientific, Technical Institutions and institutions of Higher Education, as per the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission from time to time.
