The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, also commonly referred to as PGIMER has released the admit card for the entrance exams to be conducted this year. The PGIMER Admit Card 2020 has been released online on the official website of the institute – pgimer.edu.in from where students will be allowed to download the same. The admit cards will only be available to those candidates who have successfully filled and submitted the application forms for the PGIMER Common Entrance Examination.
The PGIMER Admit Card 2020 has been released for the MD (Hospital Administration), MB/MS, Fellowship/Post Doctoral Fellowship entrance tests. To be able to download the PGIMER admit card 2020, registered candidates will be required to use their unique Login Id and Password that was created at the time of application submission.
Steps to Download PGIMER Admit Card 2020
- Visit the official website of the institute – pgimer.edu.in
- Click on the relevant admit card link from the “Information for Candidates” tab on the homepage.
- On the new page, click on the “CLICK HERE FOR ADMIT CARD” link.
- Enter your “Login Id”, “Password” and the given Captcha. Click on Login.
- Download the PGIMER Admit Card 2020.
It is important for the candidates to read the given instructions and guidelines prior to downloading the PGIMER Admit Card 2020. The admit card will contain important information such as name, roll number, date of birth, father’s name, application number, schedule of the examination, name of the examination centre, photograph and digital signature as uploaded at the time of submitting the PGIMER Application.
About PGIMER Exam 2020
PGIMER Exams 2020 for the MD (Hospital Administration), MD/MS, Fellowship and Post Doctoral Fellowship programs are scheduled to be conducted on 14th June 2020. The exams were earlier expected to be held on 7th June, however due to the coronavirus pandemic, the exams were later postponed. The PGIMER Entrance examination is a computer based test consisting of multiple choice questions. The duration and the marking scheme varies for each exam.
The common entrance test for the MD/MS programs consists of 250 multiple choice questions that is conducted over a duration of 3 hours. Fellowship and post doctoral fellowship entrance tests consist of 2 parts where each part consists of 30 questions each. Part 1 has questions related to the MD/MS/DM/M.Ch level whereas part 2 is solely based on fellowship and post doctoral fellowship. There will be negative marking and the time duration given for completing both parts is 60 minutes.
