The Patna University might begin the admission process for the new academic session 2021-22 by May-end 2021. However, authorities have already delayed the admissions process by nearly a month. The reason being the ongoing pandemic and subsequent lockdown implemented across the nation. The university has not released an exact date to start the admission process for undergraduate courses, but the varsity plans to start conducting soon.
However, authorities have decided to fast-track the admissions process soon. As per the report, the varsity will implement the University Management Information System (UMIS) for a faster admission process. Mr. NK Jha, Patna University’s Dean of Students’ Welfare, said, “We have already roped in an agency for introducing UMIS. The admission process is likely to commence in May-end. The varsity would soon make an announcement regarding undergraduate and postgraduate admission after the end of the current lockdown period.”
Meanwhile, the university has released the intermediate results of the BSEB/Bihar Board exams. Students who have appeared for the exam can check their results on BSEB’s official website. With the release of Bihar board results, Patna University will soon begin the admission process for undergraduate programs.
