The Panjab University has released an official notification regarding the postponement of the second online session of counselling. The admission into B.Pharm and B.Sc Hons. disciplines are being carried through online counselling sessions, conducted by Panjab University. But due to the spike in the COVID-19 cases, the authorities have decided to postpone the counselling till further notice. The counselling session was initially scheduled from 11 September 2020 to 14 September 2020.
The Official Notification
The official notification reads, “This is for the information of all applicants for PU-CET(UG)-2020 admissions in B.Pharma and B.Sc (Hons School) Departments that the second online admission counselling that was to be held from 11 September 2020 to 14 September 2020 has been postponed till further notice from PU in the wake of alarmingly rising cases of Corona Virus infections. All candidates selected in the first counselling in various departments must send fee receipts and their email id and mobile numbers to the Chairpersons of their departments by email.”
PU CET PG 2020 Admit Card
As per the official reports, the admit card for PU CET PG 2020 will be released on the official website by 1 October 2020. The entrance examination scheduled by the University was postponed earlier due to the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown imposed in the country. The University has also delayed the second round of the admission counselling due to the pandemic.
The admissions for undergraduate programmes are being carried out online. Panjab University has released merit lists for the same. But it has also postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic taking worse turns. Candidates must upload their documents and pay the fee if they haven’t already done so. The counselling will resume after further notice. Till then, candidates must keep visiting the official website for further information.
