Osmania University has released the revised timetable for the engineering courses. Arvind Kumar shared the revised schedule via his official Twitter handle, regarding the revised timetable for Osmania University. A revision in the previously released timetable was requested by the engineering undergraduate students as there was no preparation gap in between the examination.
The exam schedule was consecutive and back to back, leaving no room for preparation. The revised timetable released recently has been drafted keeping in mind the requests of the students and ensuring that there is at least a gap of a day in between two consecutive examinations.
Semester Exam to Begin from 23 November 2020
Osmania University engineering students must note that according to the revised timetable, the semester examination will commence on 23 November 2020. The latest timetable observes a gap of at least two to three days in between every examination. The examinations are scheduled between 10 AM to 12 PM. As the examinations will be conducted offline, which means that the students will have to write the examination in-person sitting in the examination hall, all the COVID-19 safety guidelines and Standard Operative Protocols (SOPs) will be followed by the varsity.
The previous Timetable Released by Osmania University
As per the exam schedule released earlier, the second semester Osmania University engineering exams were scheduled from 23 November 2020 to 1 December 2020; while the fourth-semester exams from 3 December 2020 to 11 December 2020. The first-year Bachelor of Engineering supplementary exams of Osmania University were scheduled from 2 December 2020 to 8 December 2020. Candidates of the affiliated colleges did not have sufficient gaps for preparation in between the examination.
The varsity officials have informed that Osmania University will provide a gap of 45 days in the least before the commencement of the next semester examination so that the candidates have sufficient time to prepare for the examination and revision of the syllabus.
