NTA released the results of Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) 2020 on February 4th, 2020. Candidates who appeared for the test can check the results online at gpat.nta.nic.in
Candidates can also check the merit list from the GPAT link available on the official website. They must provide their application number and date-of-birth to view the results.
GPAT 2020 was conducted on January 28th, 2020 in various parts of India. Out of 50747 candidates who registered, 48360 candidates appeared for the test.
A total of 4913 candidates are meritorious and can apply for scholarships.
Steps to download the GPAT 2020 results
Following are the steps to download GPAT results successfully:
- Visit official site- gpat.nta.nic.in
- Click the link “View Result/Score Card” on the home page.
- Enter your credentials and click on the “Submit” button.
- GPAT 2020 results will appear on the screen.
- Download and take a printout of the GPAT result 2020 for future use.
GPAT 2020 Score
The NTA score of a candidate is calculated according to the following equatiion:
(100 X N)/(Total number of the candidates appeared); N is the Number of candidates appeared in the examination with raw marks EQUAL TO OR LESS than the candidate.
Note: NTA score is not the same as that of marks secured.
The GPAT 2020 scores are valid for a period of three years from the date of writing the exam for admission into PG programme and for the purpose of applying for a scholarship. Even after completion of M.Pharm degree, if someone is interested to pursue PhD or National Doctoral scholarship, the same score will be considered.
Events post GPAT 2020
Candidates selected in the merit list will be eligible for counselling. There is no centralised counselling and various institutions participating and accepting the GPAT scores will conduct their own counselling.
At the time of counselling students have to carry the following important documents :
- Mark sheet and Pass certificate of class 10th and 12th.
- Graduation mark sheet.
- Migration certificates.
- GPAT 2020 scorecard.
- Provisional certificate.
- Any government id proof – Aadhar card, voter id card, PAN card etc.
Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) is a national level test for M.Pharm programmes. Till 2018 it was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as per Ministry of Human Resource Department (MHRD). In 2020 the test is conducted by NTA
(National Testing Agency).
This test enables institutions to choose suitable Pharmacy graduates for admission into the Masters (M.Pharm) program. The GPAT is a 3 hour computer-based online test which is conducted in a single session.
