The National Testing Agency has delayed the release of ARPIT admit card 2020. The admit card will be released on Feb 5, 2020 on NTA ARPIT official website – ntaarpit.nic.in
NTA previously extended the final registration date of ARPIT 2020 from 17th Jan 2020 to 27th Jan 2020. Consequently, the admit card release also had to be extended as well. Official notification by NTA reads, “Having extended the ARPIT registration closing date from 17th Jan to 27th Jan 2020, the Admit cards/ Hall Tickets can now be downloaded from onwards of 5th Feb, instead of 29th Jan 2020.”
NTA will conduct the Annual Refresher Program in Teaching (ARPIT) 2020 on 10th May 2020. The postponement was due to the uploading of less content by six NRCs. These NRCs were to upload 100% course content before 15th Mar 2020 on ‘SWAYAM‘ platform. The final date for uploading the course content has been revised and scheduled for April 10, 2020.
ARPIT Exam Pattern: ARPIT is conducted online in computer-based mode. There will be 100 MCQs for a three-hour duration. Every correct answer will be awarded one mark and 1/3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
ARPIT (Annual Refresher Programme in Teaching) is an online platform developed by the Ministry of Human Resource Development to develop 15 lakh higher education faculty using MOOCs platform SWAYAM. 75 discipline-specific National Resource Centres in the first phase and 48 NRCs’ in the second phase will be asked to prepare online training material with focus on latest developments, new & emerging trends, pedagogical improvements, and methodologies for transacting revised curriculum.
