The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) finally published the Senior Secondary results on 5 August 2020. The result was announced around 5 pm IST. To check the results, students must visit the official website – www.results.nios.ac.in, and the enrollment number should be kept ready before visiting the website.

In an earlier notice issued by the apex court of India, the Supreme Court directed NIOS to publish the Class 12 Board results latest by the first week of August. Consequently, NIOS had to face a lot of rebuttal because of the notice. But finally, NIOS decided to declare the results. Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below to view their class 12 NIOS result 2020.

How to Check NIOS 2020 Senior Secondary Result?

  1. Visit the official website – www.results.nios.ac
  2. On the left-hand side corner, find the section titled “Public Examination Result.”
  3. Scroll down and click on the active link named “Check Result.”
  4. Enter your enrollment number and captcha.
  5. The result will be displayed on the screen.
  6. Do not forget to save a copy for future reference.

  • Subject-wise marks scored
  • Aggregate Marks
  • Final Status

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, NIOS wasn’t able to conduct the Senior Secondary examinations. Students have been graded based on the projects and internal assessment. The alternative marking scheme was laid down by MHRD, keeping in mind the welfare of the students.
