Steps to apply for NIMCET 2020
- Visit the official portal- nimcet.in
- On the homepage click on the link “New Registration” option.
- Furnish all the basic details and register on the website.
- Fill the application form and upload images and signature.
- Pay the required amoun of fee.
- Submit the form.
- Download and take a printout of NIMCET 2020 for future use.
Indian Nationals with at least 60% marks in aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% marks or 6.0 CGPA on a 10-point scale in case of SC/ ST/PwD) in:
B.Sc. (Hons) / B.Sc. / BIT / BCA / B.Voc. (Computer Science/ Computer Applications) of minimum three year full-time programme from a recognized University with Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects.
B.E./ B.Tech. from a recognized University.
National Institutes of Technology (NITs) gain National Importance and are registered under MHRD, Govt. of India. For admission into MCA program, NITs conduct a Common Entrance National Test known as NIMCET. The MCA programme is offered by NITs at Calicut, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Agartala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Warrangal, Tiruchirapalli and Surathkal. NITs admit candidates to MCA programs based on the scores in NIMCET.
