NEET 2019 Results to be Announced Tomorrow

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare the results of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)-UG 2019 tomorrow, on 5th June 2019.

The NEET Result 2019 will be declared on the official website of the NTA. The NEET (UG) 2019 was conducted by the NTA on the 5th of May from 2 pm to 5 pm at various test centers across the nation. The NTA is who conducted the entrance examination, will be declaring the results in the form of an All India Rank merit list. This year, a total of 15,19,375 candidates registered for the NTA NEET 2019 examination out of which 14,10,754 aspirants appeared for the examination across the state.

The steps to check NTA NEET 2019 Exam scores are as follows

  • Step 1 – Log on to the official website of NTA NEET ntaneet.nic.in
  • Step 2 – On the homepage, click on ‘NTA NEET Result 2019’
  • Step 3 – Enter your application number, date of birth and other details
  • Step 4 – The results will be displayed on the screen
  • Step 5 – Download it and take the print out of the same for future reference.

Candidates were allowed to raise objections (if any) against the preliminary answer key by June 2. After going through each and every objection submitted by the candidates, NTA will also release the NEET Final Answer Key 2019 which will be used in the preparation of result.

After NEET Result 2019, students will have to appear for the counseling based on the marks obtained in the test to get admission in undergraduate medical courses. The schedule for NEET counseling 2019 will be uploaded on the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) homepage after the NEET 2019 result declaration.

In related news, The Central Government of India in consultation with Medical Council of India has lowered the NEET PG 2019 Percentile by 6 percentile. The State Counseling Committees are advised to grant Admission on the basis of revised percentile.

The National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test is a national level entrance exam, organized by National Board of Examinations (NBE) every year. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) UG is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in Indian Medical and Dental Colleges.

The Selection and admission to any postgraduate seat in an institution recognized by Indian Medical Council (IMC) are only when a candidate fulfils the admission criteria, eligibility criteria, medical fitness and criteria set by the university or Institutions. The National Board of Examination (NBE) has no role in counselling or allocating the seats to candidates.
