Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country, COA (Council of Architecture) has decided to postponed NATA 2020 entrance exam.  The Architecture Entrance Test was supposed to be held on 19th April 2020. However, with lockdown extended by the Central Government due to Coronavirus pandemic, COA has decided to postpone the examination. In addition to this, NATA application submission dates have also been extended and candidates can now register for NATA Architecture test online till 15th April 2020 at nata.in

NATA-2020 will be conducted twice a year. For those aspirants who were unable to appear for the first test due to some reason or wish to improve on their scores, the second test will be useful. Both the tests will be conducted on different dates as a 1-day online examination all over the country. The test consists of two parts: Part A on Drawing, which is paper based and Part B contains Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) on Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and general aptitude which is to be answered online.

The official notification issued by COA clearly states that admit card download will be facilitated only after the test date is finalised. It further states that the exam date for 2nd test may be revised as well.

About NATA 2020 

COA has been the regulating body for conducting NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) since 2006, upon its provisions of minimum standards of architectural education and Regulations, 1983, published in the Gazette of India. The main aim was to have a separate aptitude test for Architecture and such a test should not be combined with the tests for admissions to Engineering, Pharmacy, Medicine and other disciplines. COA conducts NATA as a Common Aptitude test in architecture and provides a single window system for appearing in aptitude test and to facilitate institutions, students and public at large for admission into 5 years B.Arch. Degree Course at all recognized institutions spread across the country.
