Mumbai University will release its 1st Merit List for Undergraduate Admissions 2020 at 11 AM today. According to the earlier notification, the Merit List for 2020 was supposed to release on 4th August 2020. However, the University chose to extend the application deadline by two more days and will be releasing the Merit List 2020 today. As per tentative estimates from the University sources, around 3.3 lakh aspirants have registered for Mumbai University’s UG Admissions 2020 as compared to last year’s 2.5 lakh. As a result, there is a 25% increase in the number of applications received for the UG Admissions this year.

Students who have applied for admission to various Undergraduate level programmes will be able to check their admission status soon via official college websites or by logging onto mu.ac.in

After the release of the Mumbai University Admission Merit List 2020 for the students, the respective colleges will start the verification process of their documents. Here is a list of the necessary documents:

  • Class 10 mark sheet
  • Class 12 mark sheet
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Conduct Certificate
  • Valid ID proof
  • Declaration / Undertaking form
  • Caste Certificate (If applicable)

Students are expected to provide their original documents for this process. These original documents would be verified against the information provided by them in the application process, and their admission status would be confirmed upon payment of the application fee.
